kwk creative studio is led by artist and founder Kaity Kwock, a New Jersey-based calligrapher and engraver serving corporate events, brand activations, weddings, live engagement experiences, and bespoke in-studio commissions.
I’m Kaity (pronounced KY-dee) Kwock, a calligrapher and engraver based in New Jersey, serving the New York metropolitan area.
I was born and raised in New York City, surrounded by art, culture, and creativity—things that naturally shaped how I see the world and the work I’m drawn to. I went on to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I built a strong foundation in design, craftsmanship, and visual storytelling.
Before starting kwk creative studio, I spent over a decade working in fast-paced corporate roles across fashion, luxury real estate, and advertising. While I loved the energy and creativity of those industries, I eventually found myself craving something more hands-on and personal. That curiosity led me to calligraphy.
What began as quiet studio work quickly grew into kwk creative studio. I started with in-studio commissions, and over time, the work naturally evolved to include live, on-site services—bringing calligraphy, engraving, and hot foiling directly to events and celebrations.
Whether I’m working in the studio or engraving live at an event, I’m all about the details that make each piece feel personal—creating thoughtful moments that people connect with and remember.
Just a little bit more about me
Favorites.
Traveling. Podcasts. Purple. Escape rooms. Dystopian/Sci-fi novels. Taiwan. Upper West Side. Solitude. Being around good people. Going to sleep too late. All the pizza. Also, all the rice. Learning as much as I can. Delicate jewelry. Oolong tea.
2nd Generation.
I’m a very proud child of immigrants. I was born in Manhattan to parents who emigrated here from Taiwan and Hong Kong. I speak Mandarin Chinese fluently, very rusty Hoisan/Hoiping (a dialect from my grandmother’s village) and I’ve studied Spanish and Russian.
While I now live in New Jersey, I only consider myself a New Yorker (born & raised, baby).
Family.
I’m a calligrapher and engraver, but most importantly, I’m the mother to 2 incredible boys and the wife to a husband who is a better person than I’ll ever be.
I’m incredibly close to my brothers and my parents—my mom is the best, most deserving human on planet earth and I will fight anyone who disagrees.
Responsibility.
I’m intentional about the work I take on and the spaces I contribute to, choosing to create with care, integrity, and a deep respect for all people.
My work is rooted in equity, inclusion, and a commitment to supporting people of all identities and backgrounds.
