I’m Kaity (pronounced KY-dee) Kwock, the calligrapher and engraver behind kwk creative studio, serving New Jersey, New York City, and beyond through live events, brand activations, and bespoke commissions.

Born and raised in New York City, I grew up surrounded by creativity, fashion, design, and culture from an early age. I later attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where I built a strong foundation in design, craftsmanship, and visual storytelling that still influences my work today.

I specialize in live calligraphy, engraving, and hot foiling for events that want guests to experience something personal and beautifully made in the moment. Whether it’s a fragrance bottle, leather keepsake, menu card, or gift item, I love watching an ordinary object become something someone suddenly wants to hold onto forever.

Before starting kwk creative studio, I spent over a decade working across fashion, luxury real estate, and advertising in New York City. While I loved the creativity and fast pace of those industries, I eventually found myself drawn toward work that felt more hands-on and personal, which ultimately led me to calligraphy.

Today, I partner with brands, agencies, venues, and private clients to create personalized experiences that feel elevated without feeling overly formal. My work has included luxury retail activations, corporate events, weddings, and custom in-studio commissions.

Clients have included Dior Beauty, T-Mobile, Roger Vivier, Auberge Resorts, Macy’s, and more.

When I’m not working an event or covered in ink in the studio, I’m usually testing new materials, reorganizing supplies I just reorganized last week, or convincing myself I absolutely need another brush pen.

Just a little bit more about me

Favorites.

Traveling. Podcasts. Purple. Escape rooms. Taiwan. Upper West Side. Solitude. Being around good people. Going to sleep too late. All the pizza. Also, all the rice. Learning about everything. Oolong tea. Dimly lit restaurants. Documentaries. ‍PBS. Social justice. No shoes in the house. ‍

Roots.

I’m a very proud child of immigrants. I was born in Manhattan to parents who emigrated here from Taiwan and Hong Kong. I speak Mandarin Chinese fluently, and very rusty Hoiping-Toisan (a distinctly unique dialect from my grandmother’s village)and I was trilingual by the age of 4.

While I now live in New Jersey, I still consider myself a New Yorker (born & raised, baby).

Family.

Family has always been a huge part of who I am.

Beyond the studio, I’m a mom to two incredible boys, married to an endlessly kind and supportive husband, and very close with my parents and brothers.

They’re the people who keep me grounded, make me laugh the hardest, and remind me what actually matters outside of work.

Responsibility.

I’m intentional about the work I take on and the spaces I contribute to, choosing to create with care, integrity, and a deep respect for all people.

My work is rooted in equity, inclusion, and a commitment to supporting people of all identities and backgrounds.
